Amandine Alessandra is a freelance photographer and graphic designer based in London. After a Masters in Fine Arts & Aesthetics from the Université de Provence
in 2003, she moved to the UK where she runs her own photographic practice since 2007 and graduated with a Masters in Graphic Design from the London College
of Communication in 2009.
Since setting up her practice in January 2010, she has worked on a social-media
based award winning campaign with Havas Worldwide (then known as Euro RSCG Lisboa) for Optimus Kanguru, on a visual identity for the University of the Arts London, on 3D projects for DesignMarketo and Selfridges, on an organic typeface for ALSTOM and more recently on the Earth Hour 2014 campaign for WWF (Germany).
A co-founder of Tower Block Books Ltd, a London-based independent publishing company, she is also a contributor to publications by Gestalten (Germany), Rotovision (UK), Mark Batty (US), Sandu (China), Laurence King (UK), Slanted (Germany), Wired (UK) and Étapes Magazine (France).
She has worked as a visiting lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire, the University
of Hertfordshire and the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts of Beirut, Lebanon,
and more recently as an associate lecturer at London College of Communication.
